I’ve been hearing about this mysterious flat white excitement over the past few weeks. While they are new to Starbucks in the states, Flat Whites are already extremely popular around the world and among coffee experts. I have yet to try my own professionally-made (or at least Starbucks-made) Flat White but thought I’d give it a shot to see what I was in for. Mine…definitely…does not taste amazing, but I’m sure it would be better if I had the correct tools, plus, it was fun to try out.
After nearly a year of deleting grains, dairy, sugars and processed ingredients from my diet, I’ve hit a chef’s equivalent to writer’s block. Instead of concocting primal goodies to satisfy my sweet tooth, I’ve been reaching my hand into the cookie jar. Bad cave girl!
I came up with this recipe a few nights ago and it has totally reinvigorated my creative slump. Best of all, you can cook this thing IN YOUR MICROWAVE. College dormers, rejoice!
